How was your week, friends?  I welcomed a niece into the world (!) and now I’m out running around Minnesota on a weekend away that was a surprise.  How fun!

But!  Before we get to the links!  I’m writing content for my small business blog.  What would you like to know about?  Leave your questions in the comments or email me at sarah (at) yesandyes (dot) org.

What happens when you enter the Miss Korea pageant?

Pageant lore had it that one year a contestant snuck into a restroom stall with her mother and a plastic surgeon in tow. She emerged, stitched up and looking brand new–thanks to a mysterious procedure, which the surgeon managed to complete in mere minutes.
“The story is sadly true,” 23-year-old Kim admits. “It’s a crazy story but because of her we are not allowed to even touch our parents. They can’t hug us, we can’t touch them, nothing. Yes.  Dating tips for the feminist man. (Or really anyone who dates women.)

Just as we teach high schoolers that ‘if you’re not ready for the possible outcomes of babies and diseases, you’re not ready for sex,’ the same is true of emotions. Sex brings up emotion. I've never understood this line of thinking. Not because sex isn't emotional, but because I get emotional in all my romantic engagements (and often even my would-be romantic engagements). It doesn't matter if we have sex or not.
